These courses are designed with secondary aged pupils and sixth form college students in mind. A number of schools currently use first aid courses to make up part of their Enrichment Program. There is an emphasis within the course to encourage students to take responsibility for their actions and to be aware of their role within society, to assist (as long as it is not putting themselves or others at risk) with the event of a First Aid Emergency.
Our aim is to equip as many young people as possible with a sound knowledge of First Aid. The pupils are taught the importance of staying calm during a first aid emergency and how and when to use the lifesaving skills they have acquired.
The course has been designed by a qualified teacher with over 14 years of experience in education and is delivered using in-depth medical knowledge.
The course uses active participation methods, including lots of role play and hands on practice using training aids.
